Pixar have released a teaser trailer of their new film WALL-E with Ratatouille.

Plot Details:

WALL-E is the story about the last little robot on Earth. He is a robot that his programming was to help clean up. You see, it's set way in the future. Through consumerism, rampant, unchecked consumerism, the Earth was covered with trash. And to clean up, everyone had to leave Earth and set in place millions of these little robots that went around to clean up the trash and make Earth habitable again.

Well, the cleanup program failed with the exception of this one little robot and he's left on Earth doing his duty all alone. But it's not a story about science fiction. It's a love story, because, you see, WALL-E falls in love with [Eve], a robot from a probe that comes down to check on Earth, and she's left there to check on and see how things are going and he absolutely falls in love with her.

The trailer can be found here.

WALL-E is set to be released on 27th June 2008 - US Date.

Pixar also have two other films in pre-production or production:

Are Pixar going over-kill with the new films?

Personally, I look forward to all the Pixar films and WALL-E has a rather good storyline it seems. I don't really fancy Ratatouille though.

Didn't like Cars but going on the 9 minute online preview and reviews I've read, Ratatouille looks good to me. That aside, I'm bored with talking animals so robots make a nice change.
Disney has been making animated movies for decades so I don't think you can say overkill. Pixar are now the be all and end all of what's perceived as modern Disney animation.

Yeah saw this trailer alongside Ratouille looks like another fun movie :) wow love the idea behind Up how kewl good stuff still to come obviously not running out of ideas!

Cars was amazing, how dare you lol

I really am looking forward to this. I think it's going to be quite good.

I'm not too sure about another Toy Story, though. I hope they don't kill that franchise.

Really looking forwarRAB to this, anything with a cute robot has me there, he is adorable!!!! I love the bit where he is playing with the ping pong bat and ball, ha ha.

Exactly what I was going to say, there's a big cardboard model in my local Vue, he's just a dwarf version of Johnny Five!

From the catterpillar tracks tothe design of his head, he's just missing the laser on his back.
