Wall-E -- When did previews start?

Wall-E comes out in a few weeks, but it seems like I've been seeing previews for this thing for literally YEARS...like at least since 2006. When did previews for this thing begin, anyone know?

Well, as much as I hate that as well, we haven't seen a single clip of Bolt in action. Hopefully we can see the preview to Up with Bolt.

I'm betting that's a likely scenerio. Disney's trying to reclaim it's animated ground - what better way to promote their attempts to produce a more quality-driven product then to put it in front of a sure-fire quality product.

It's right if you remember that Disney and Pixar are all part of one big happy family now. The trailer in front of WALL*E should be for the next Disney/Pixar movie, which is Bolt.

Sorry, I didn't mean Disney/Pixar as a separate entity from Disney, as they were in the past. Now they're all one big happy family, so that slash was meant as an "or." What I was trying to say is that Pixar used to preview their next movie at the start of their current movie. "They" are Disney AND Pixar, so "their next movie" is Bolt. Bolt will no doubt have a preview for Up, which will in turn probably have previews for Toy Story 3-D and Princess and the Frog (since TS3D isn't really a new movie).

See, all you had to do is read my mind to get that :).

I just wanted to know, does the short film, and preview of next movie only show on the day of the movies premiere, or does it air every single movie.

Every showing. Both the Bolt trailer and Presto short are printed on first film reel. They're literally a part of the movie itself; unlike the rest of the trailers you'll see which are attatched by each theater when they assemble the film.
