Cant believe it especially as its a Disney title and just out today. Just a shame they dont put Sleeping Beauty Platinum Edition in the line too as i refuse to pay
 
how long before they become the main format? I reckon it'll be quite a while. The players are still expensive for most people in these credit crunch times and when you can pick up new dvRAB for
 
The "eco friendly" fold out box is cheap though, ain't it.

Did you get it from Amazon?.. they were giving away the slinky. Got mine from woolworths for 9.90, but without a slinky spring.
 
I think the fold out box is wonderful and not cheap at all, the front cover shines/glitters, it's lovely! I like it better than a plain old plastic box. Interesting to open on both sides to get the discs :)

I did indeed get it from Amazon.
 
The most important question has to be...

Does the slinky work?

It was a big dilemma. I chose not to get it. I'm now thinking that maybe I should of. :cry:
 
It doesn't work on our stairs because the steps are too big for it since it's not a full sized slinky, it's a mini version. It does work on our little garden steps though :)
 
I don't think Blu-Ray will pick up as fast as DVD did. Its not such a big jump from DVD to BD as it was from VHS to DVD. DVD had advantages in better pictures, extra features, chapters, no need to rewind, possibly even the smaller packaging to store. BD adRAB to picture but when DVD is good enough for the majority of people, i can't see BD really "taking over" within the next ten years at least. Especially when there could be a potential for people to opt for BD when their DVD players break which outwith a credit crunch may have allowed BD faster growth, at the moment if a DVD player breaks and the choice is between a few hundred on a BD or 20 quid on a DVD player I think the option the majority would take is obvious.

Good to see the prices start to reduce slightly though.
 
It's good to see Blu Rays finally drop in price a bit. I've all seen their shelf space increase in shops recently, all a good sign for us Blu buyers.
