walking and squating really work to induce labor?

Im 38weeks and 5 days im just tiered ie been walking lik crazy n squating all i feel smooth contractions n there lik 10 min apart went to labor / delivery on monday night because of contractions they said no bleeding,no strong contractions,no water break.No service lol i feel little bit of pressure but nothing happens next day every things gone i dont even know if im still dilating i was only 1cm dilated on monday how much longer will it take.supposetly after u have 1 baby with the others should go faster that is really hard to believe cause this is my third. some one give me advice please
