Walk the Line/Joaquin Phoenix

Just watched Walk the Line again on Channel 4. Joaquin Phoenix was absolutely brilliant in it and at that time he was drop dead gorgeous! I believe he's let himself go a bit since then. Great film!
 
I hope he sorts himself out too. He seems like a very lonely person. I could be wrong, but I don't think he ever dealt with losing his brother.
