Wal Mart Woes

While I have a distaste for Wally-World, Sam's Club is like a shrine to capitalism for me. So much awesomeness in one store, I literally squeal with glee when I go and buy an industrial-strength/size tube of ointment designed for 500,000 people for $12.

It's almost like Wal*Mart's good twin...

Ahh, that reminds me of the time my friends and I were at Walmart to buy her Guitar Hero 2 game and a controller and an iPod for myself. We found the game within the first five minutes of walking around in the store, but it was behind the glass, of course. So we looked around and NOBODY was in the electronics department.

We waited for the cell phone booth lady to finish up with a customer (which took 20 minutes), and then asked for her to get someone to help us. She called someone up to the electronics dept, and that took another 10 minutes before the lady who worked there actually showed up.

When she did, we got the game and the controller, and when I asked for the ipod, she made me wait for another 15 minutes before she finally told me that there weren't any more.

In other words, Walmart sucks.

sure walmart employees are inept.. the stores are overpacked by peoples but the prices are low... sure thier low because the products are made by small children and slave labor in other countries.. but they have an excellent retirement program for them.. I mean you ever wonder how the deli has lunch meat so cheap? :D

I hear ya Mdot...damn you Wal Mart!I don't buy anything there that requires any kind of interaction between me and the emplyees..it is just easier that way(besides, they have a crappy selection of computer and console games anyway)
Every time hubby and I go there we spend a fortune......we buy food and then we get sidetracked....we collect baseball and football cards so there is $100....and I always have to take a look in the kitchen section, and hub has to look in automotive...and holy shit,it is just an evil place...but I can't help myself from buying there.

I hate how when you go to wal mart, you ALWAYS come out with more than you wanted. The worst part is that it's not even quality stuff. It's all shit. But I still go there. I'm such a hypocrite.

Actually I come out with less than I wanted more often than more than I wanted. Either because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, it was more than I wanted to spend, or the checkout lines were longer than I wanted to wait.

Walmart sucks. Their shit might be cheap, but it is cheap. Add to that, that their service sucks, and I try to go there as little as I can.

Oh, did I say that Walmart sucks?
