Hillary Clinton is now the US Secretary of State, so she resigned her job as Senator. The NY governor picked someone new to fill the Senate seat.EDIT - Secretary of State is 4th in line for Presidency after Vice Pres, Speak of the House, and President Pro Tem of the Senate.
 
She might be....if I knew what that was I could give you a better answer.She is not the Senator anymore though.FYI: XOXOXOXOXO....next in line would be scary ass Nancy Pelosi....theres a good conspiracy theory for ya!!
 
she is going to be Secretary of Statewhich means if obama and biden die, she is next in line for president
 
She is no longer a senator, she works for mr.obama now. There is some other lady that is going for hilary's old seat in the senate.
 
It's Senator, and she is no longer a senator. She is the Secretary of State under Obama's Cabinet.
 
Is this a serious question? Hillary Clinton is obviously not a Senator since she is the new Secretary of State and resigned her Senate seat.
 
You have to keep up girl! She was sworn in yesterday as Sec. of Statexoxoxox I think Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the house is nest in line after the V.P.
 
When Hilary became the Secretary of State she withdrew from the Senate leaving the seat open as each state has two Senators.Paterson, the governor of NY, has the responsibility to appoint someone to fill the vacancy she left. He did.Paterson wasn't elected to the post, and neither was this woman.I don't think they will make it the next election, and that means some very interesting times ahead for NY politics.
