I didn't take my road test in Wahiawa, but I would suspect that's it's not too hard considering it's in an isolated area.
But I took my first road test (yes, I had to take it twice), in Kapolei. It's been a year or two since that test but I remember I had to pass by Home Depot then go back around to the City Office Building (I think that was what the building was called).
The easiest place to get a license was in Pearl City (where I obtained mine), since in Kapolei I had to do head checks and change lanes, while in Pearl City I didn't have to. I got marked down for those two things the first time. For some strange reason the Pearl City location is closed for good.
Even though my second road test went well and it was at an easier location, I still practiced a lot beforehand.
