I'm going to get a new cell phone and I cant decide between the Sony Ericsson W810i or the Nokia N75. Can anyone help me?:)

i'd prefer sony ericsson w810i over n75. because 1) w810i comes with loads of stuff in box 2) camera is 2 MP with flash 3) great mp3 and comes with 128 or 256 mb memory card. n75 has short talk time, and not good photo quality.

That really depends on what you're looking for in your next phone.

List what's important in your wants and needs, and you'll get an informed decision.

Wow..that's two differenct phones aimed at different markets your comparing. The N95 IMO is a do-it all phone, able to go on internet, PDA, nice quality 5MP Camera. The W810is a much more cheaper phone, with a Walkman player, and a quality made phone.

He said the N75, which has a 2 MP camera, not the N95 which is the one with the 5 MP phone and like everything else.

Anyways, if you are cheap, get the w810i. I honestly think Nokia phones are either all crappy or good and extremely overpriced. The N75 is retailed for $350 at Cingular stores. On Ebay, the N75 goes for $250 average. The w810i goes for around $180 on Ebay, $70 cheaper.

If it's me, I would take the N75 just because I've had the w810i before and I need different phones everytime. That and if I can find the N75 for lower than $200 on Ebay (which I did but just didn't buy it cause I bought a K790a).

The W810 has been announced as the latest addition to the walkman-branded mobile phone line up by Sony Ericsson.

The w810 is a sophisticated styled phone available in Satin Black and allows the user to transfer their CD music collection or download from operator services.

Some features of the Sony Ericsson W810 include:

- mobile multi-media functionality
- capture and send high-resolution mega pixel pictures
- Internet access
- 512MB removable memory stick (can be upgraded to 2GB)
- supports industry standard MP3 and AAC music file formats
- HPM-70 stereo headphones with 3.5mm headphone jack

Music can be downloaded onto the W810 from your PC via a USB 2.0 using appropriate software or by purchasing new music. The PC software provided makes sorting files easy and the 512 MB memory stick allows for the storage of approximately 150 music tracks.

Incoming calls will not be missed while listening to music. As with other Walkman style phones, music will pause automatically to allow the user to receive incoming calls. When the call is ended the music will resume playing.

How do You like that K790a so far? I want to get this phone but i'm still kind of thinking about it...I'm in between Nokia N73 and SE K790a. Nokia is easy to find on Ebay and i know Amazon.com has SE K790a in stock, both around the same price, The fact that SE one os three band only while nopkia is quad band i travel a lot to europe and not sure if i won't have any problems using SE K790a which is three band. Mainly i need a phone for talking and have a deceant camera both can provide it but both have minuses...Nokia poorer battery life than Sony but sony is three band but better battery life...though decision to make. Botha have good cameras though.

I dont like Nokia phones. Dont know why. I belive SE phones look better than Nokia phones. I have used w810i, its very beutiful. I can recommend you to buy this without checking N75.

maybe you should check out
a few phone review sites. It might help you decide ;) though like the W810i:p

I had SE w810i, it's OK phone with decent camera and great battery life (like most SE phones) generally not my taste i much prefer slider phones. My w810i was a little sluggish thouh when "working" with applications.
