W700i Camera Flex problem

Hi everyone,
I have a question about the Camera for W700i. My friend has a W700i phone, and she wanted me to change the housing on it. Well I did that, the only problem was, when I was changing it, I sorta damaged the camera's cable. I broke the little piece with the camera switch trigger, and it doesn't work any more. Anyways, I went onto eBay and bought another flex cable. The listing said it is for W700 as well as W800 and a few other models. However when I received the cable, it is slightly different than the original one. On the attached photo, the left one is the original, and the right one was the one i purchased. the user is no longer registered, so I can't get a hold of him. Can someone please help me out here? I want to have this fixed ASAP.

I never worked on a W700i because I always thought that it was redundant to come out with this phone when the W800i's price was dropping when the W810i was launched. I'm surprised, however, that the part would be different because the build of the W700 is the same as the W800i. The flex cable looks alright to me, just like the one in CNN.CN. On the original flex cable, can the camera be taken off?
 
I'm not 100% you can remove the camera, but it seems that it's just glued on...tightly...and the original flex wasn't okay, if u look below the light, the trigger is broken off.
 
Can you take other pictures of the original flex cable turned over on its other side, and on other angles?...You can take your time. I'm really curious about this.
 
I will try that sometimes, but considering it's not my phone and is my friend's, I might not be able to right away. She uses the phone quite a bit, and we have a winter break for school soon. I do have one other picture here, but it's out of focus...

WTH?! I always had an understanding that the parts were the same as the W800/K750/D750. Too bad I just sold my W800 not long ago. I'm going to see if I can get W700 and K750 parts phones to verify this.

But (I'm not trying to be rude) I just want to make sure, that is the exact cable you took out of the phone, correct? I would appreciate it if you can show more pics, though.
