w580i, att internet button block, possible?

I am really annoyed by the button on the front of the w580i that takes you straight to the net. I'd like to block it but can figure it out. I changed the internet settings on my phone so that when I hit the button it just tries to call a number like 22 or 11 forgot what I put. Then I just cancel call. Not sure if this is stopping me from getting charged though?
 
I had this same problem and talked to AT&T about it - they blocked me from the internet per my request. (I can't afford to connect at all, let alone every time my finger slips or my pocket gets bumped).
 
hi there sure if your phone has a lock on it cant go on to the net mine dont .mmmmmm:smart:
 
I was going to manually remove the button today. However, I decided to just use Epoxy and make it so the button can't be pressed since I never intend on having internet on this phone anyway.
