Can someone help me out, i found a site before well a forum forget which but theres files that u d/l to flash the phone and then stuff u have to install to play mpegs cause right now i can't play any videos. I can play mp3's but can't use as ringtones....

thanks again any help is welcome!

also if anyone knows how to make mp3s ringtones on the phone would you mind letting me know? thanks.

Is your phone Rogers branded? If yes, you'll need to download a program called DRM packager. It copyrights the songs, and you'll be able to use them as ringtones.

yes, it is rogers branded. is there any way you can link me to this program download and walk through how to use it? i had one before but couldn't figure it out.

hey show, i tried to email you but it said the email failed. the email said :

Hi, thanks for your help. I have done everything it siad to do in the DRM Packager. But phase 3 and phase 4 were the same. Not sure if there was something that i missed or if that was intentional. But regardless, the file i got from the DRM packager now says "Forward-locked or combined delivery content file"

I tried to go into the Disc2Phone program, but i can't seem to add the file to my phone. The program doesn't recognize it for some reason. Is there something i should be doing? maybe i'm not supposed to use the Disc2Phone program? is there something i'm not doing right?

let me know, i appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Scen

Haha, sorry I forgot to switch the link to phase 4, anyways, it should be a different one now. I forgot to mention to not use Disc2Phone. Wonder why my email won't work.

1) Plug your USB cable to your phone
2) Open your phone and select "file transfer"
3) Go to Start->My computer
4) Select the driver entitled "PHONE"
5) Open "PHONE", go to "audio and open "ringtones
6) Go find your DRM file that you created
7) Copy your selected DRM file and paste it in there.

*IMPORTANT*
8) Close everything related to your phone
9) Click on "Safely Remove Hardware"
10) Close the SEMC things (should be 2 items, click on properties to check)
11) Once it's all done, remove the USB from your phone.
