W......

Anyone seen this ?....

I found it enjoyable, but it made George Bush look like an over privileged wally.

It's an Oliver Stone film but it's the sort of film Michael Moore would write, knowing how much he dislikes him......

No, it's a film Oliver Stone would write as he's just as much a lefty as Michael Moore is. This is not his first anti-republican president film.

I suspect his next president film will be a pro-democrat Obama one.

I enjoyed the film, but found it quite 'safe'.

An interesting dramatical piece, but nothing more! If you after facts about the Bush man, then stick to the documentaries.

I would be interested to know why you consider this film to be anti-republican. I personally would consider it to be quite kind on Bush given the currently fashionable view of him, ie it paints him as a well meaning idiot who saw things in simple black and white terms more than anything else.

Stone's last flick about Nixon was similiarly softball and portrayed him more as a victim of his f****d up childhood, as opposed to the monster he has been pretty much universally considered to be by most people for a long time now.

The only real political hachet job Stone has ever done is JFK. "Your government knows the truth, stand up to the government, conspiracies are everywhere" blah blah blah

Now that really was a steaming pile of ficticious made up doo doo.

I didn't get the impression it was anti-bush, more aimed at showing a loveable side of Bush, or one people feel sorry for.
