Usually from phone to computer, but I'm sure it can go the other way. It is a great service. Take the time to get use to it, read the FAQs on their site, and enjoy. You can make animated greeting cards and more.

I have yet to see another carrier compete with this.

I use it when I want to send a picture or sound file to my phone. I don't use it a lot, but I do use it and I'm glad it's there. Otherwise I would have to buy the sounds and/or use cables and software.
