i know that doesnt exactly answer your question, but the point is that you have to make sure you have picture sending included in your plan, or you may be charged for it. my provider might be completely different from verizon, but i know with sprint, its free to store my pix online for 90 days, but if i didnt have the vision package in my plan i would pay to upload them.

did you pay an extra amount for TXT and PIX messaging?? ($5, $10, $15)

If you paid extra: No, it will not cost

If you don't have a TXT plan: yes... about 25cents for each upload
 
I have a verizon vx6000 cam phone. With the proper software and data cable, am I able to transfer photos to computer WITHOUT the phone on a service plan. Thanx
 
I used the vzwpix to upload media so that i can send it to my phone but it wont let me upload all of it. Keeps saying invalid file audio/mpg. Its an Mp3. Any ideas why?
 
because VZW won't allow any mp3 to be uploaded, even if you give it a fake filename/extension... I figure it is their way of covering their butts when the copyright police come calling


And for the record... the data plan costs at VZW have changed since the above posts....... if you HAD a $5 plan you can keep it, but you cannot buy a $5 plan, they start at $10
