PART I
I am looking to upgrade our phones with Verizon, and although I swore I would never buy aother Moto again after my experience with our T720 phones I am considering the razor. (Mostly for form factor+ features)

But before I make another mistake I thought I'd get some of your expert opinions.

What I am looking for:

1. Bluetooth (for headset)
2. PC sync for updating address book, contacts, etc
3. Speakerphone Good quality
4. Small/light weight
5. Decent battery life
6. Voice Dialing
7. Vibrate
8. Excelent call quality/reception
9. Analog Roaming would be a plus

No text mesgs, no Mp3, no Camera needed -

I have always liked flip phones over candybar style. I have read so many mixed reviews on the razor I would hate to spend the money only to be disappointed again.

We are on a family share plan so I would need two of whatever I select. I qualify for NE2, and my contract ended months ago.

Any suggestions from personal experience would be appreciated. I am in Northern New Jersey.

PART II
Whare to Purchase??
I have noticed some good deals on the razor From Amazon.com and others, however theyall require New service.?? I could cancel my current service & sign up for new service however I think that would void the rebates I have seen so far.

My wife is a teacher and is offered a 15% discount if we buy service in her name. I am not sure if I could still purchase from an online retailer & get the discount?

Or should I just pay the extra $$$ and got to the verizon store to have them figure this out. The price differance is significantly more from Verizon directly. (I don't get that at all?)

We are paying ~$89 per month on some three year old plan currently

Thanks All for you help-

Part I:

E815 fits everything except 7 and 9. The vibrate is kind of weak. You are also not going to find a lot of new phones that are not all digital.

Part II:

You should be eligible for NE2 on your primary line so that should knock off $100 the price. Be careful of Amazon rebates. There are a number of threads that discuss issues people have had with them.

Thanks for the feedback! If the 815 were smaller - I would get it tomorrow. I hate the thought of getting a bulkier phone than the one I already own.

I think I am going to go with either the 815, V3c, or 8100 at this point.

& Thanks for the heads-up about Amazon! I'll search the forum for the details -

Appreciate the reply,
Michael
