vx8500 Issue

alright so I'm trying another...

I just bought this phone (off ebay) and in LG Download the ESN and MEID are all 0's.

The MIP Profile is Blank as well....

can someone help me fix these?

try reflashing the software after repairing the esn to fix everything else hopefully. You can get it from www.humpa.com/vzw.

ya I just did the reflash.... I tried putting the ESN with QPST but the NVM folder is locked of course

Get LG Download and do the NV Edit thing, then close LG download and open QPST, that should unlock the NVM folder.

Or use UniCDMA. But it doesn't change the MEID, but it doesn't matter on Cricket.

lol well i think it is now bricked after trying unicdma... the phone reset and is stuck in a loop and just says verizon wireless.

That seriously does suck.

The only thing you can do is put the phone in emergency mode and flash the firmware again, it should solve the problem, but the ESN will be all 0's again.

Emergency mode is like 9 + Power or 5 + Power

2+5 was emergency mode.... trying it now I'll post back if I get it back or not, lol

this was just one I was playing with(found a new hobby, lol).... so not a lot lost if it doesn't get fixed.

aight I got the phone back... and yep everything is blank. unicdma doesn't work... dont know why. LG download doesn't unlock the NVM folder

ya... didnt work at first. I had to reflash again.... did it with older firmware and got the ESN to stick with cdma workshop. Of course there is no MEID now.... how to I get the MIP Profile back in there?
