well i got my phone to work with QPST and i changed the SPC to all 0's etc however when i did *228 it now goes into Roaming and somehow some of my calls dont go out other times incoming calls dont come in etc, which is odd, however if i load the PRL manuly its not roaming at all anyone have any ideas, or has anyone had this problem?

OK i messed up on the PRL its 02051 i took look at it in QPST or w/e and it still says 02051 on there, i had my line moved to a Differnt non cricket phone and it gets 1040 PRL, my dad on his line is getting 02055 on his V3 lol he only had like the 1039 PRL on there so i did a *228 on his anyhow lol

But yeah mine says its 02051 all the way on the VX6800 cricket and non cricket phones is 1040 so there.

P.S i did the *228 on the phone last night and it still goes to 02051 and it still goes into Romaing etc, plus i notice that i get fewer Bars then i get when i load the 1040 or the EVDO PRL on the phone.

i'm guessing you have the eca prl that includes coverage into sac/stockton. they have been having a lot of problems with those prls going onto the surewest network even when there is cricket signal. leave it on 1040 and don't mess with it. i wouldn't ask your rep they'll probably not be happy you have a flashed phone on a dealer plan. i have like 10 dealer lines and about half of them are on different prl versions than 1040. i don't know why or how they are flagged for other prl's they just are.

Well they know about it lol they dont care to be honest, but i wonder whats up with the Diff PRL's and it seems to be phone based like on my last post anyother phone it kicks it to 1040, and i wonder what PRL is on the Laptop CarRAB, had a cricket rep come in showing off the card and it was all EvDo and i cant keep my PDA to stay on EVDO, it keeps going back to 1X anyhow enough of that just wonder whats up with the differnet PRL's and why the phone sees that one on Romaing

the prl that ota downloaRAB is set by the switch. it is supposed to change depending on what features are enabled on the line. like i said for some reason about half of my dealer lines (which should all have the same features) are getting various different PRL versions. bottom line is, it's a dealer line and the normal rules do not apply.
