Vx5600 Spc

I had a hard time figuring out how to read the spc code using CDMA Workshop (I love this tool) even with the LG method selected. I played around with the WS and found if you do the following you can get to the spc.
From CDMA Workshop
1). Click on Tools
2). Select the Sec. Codes calculator
3). Click on the Meid (Hex) radio button and enter your Hex nuraber this will be the A00000 nuraber
4). At the bottom select your carrier, and it will populate the MSL-SPC, I used that to unlock the phone.

Hope this helps, as I spent 3 hours on this... It was right under my nose LOL.

If anyone has a solution to get the Internet and mms to work please post, I have not been able to find the VX5600 msi file to install the DLL.

I am willing to pay for the mms solution as I appreciate the hard work and time spent to research this stuff.
Thanks

can any body hook me up with the spc code???? cus i have the old cdma work shop n it doesnt have the tool next to the file lol :D .............thanx

In addition to the solution above, you can read the spc code using cdma workshop 2.7 or lg download using 9100 dll.. these solutions are posted in a different forums.. not my solutions. I've tried them. They works.

plz dont turn this into a sales thread... spc for any LG is generally quite simple. I never realized this was such a popular phone, must b real cheap at wally world? lol

On this LG model, you can't read the SPC with the registered CDMA Workshop version the traditional way, LG Method. It seems like companies are making it more challenging to flash phones, even for a simple procedure as finding SPC. Thanks to everyone here and other forums who are committed to finding and sharing solutions, whether for a fee or not, nothing is impossible. You know who you are. Cricket would not be where it is now and where it will be in the future without flashing.

Back to the phone..
This phone has a fancy mirror on the cover. It's the same price as the VX5500, $25 out the door including tax at WalMart. I like it better than the VX5500. Nice color and fancy design inside and out.

Thank for the help the calculator has worked on every one! I have got the SPC to be 000000 but when I put the PRL on the phone (1030, 1040, 1050, 4199, 4399 and 1024) once loaded the phone has a no service signal. Checked NAM1 and NAM2, Network Settings are on HOME ONLY-Although I tried A & B and neither helped. Restored phone through the Security Settings. I am missing something... Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
