VX10000 Voyager with WAp and MMS tutorial, some1 had to do it...

you can use the VX9100 dll in lgdownload...I use it a few times a week and never have a problem, just don't edit wap in lgdownload..or if you have access using lgnpst is way more stable, and you can edit everything using the program.
 
yeah...i have the 1.3.6.3 pro and the 1.3.6.3 pro world edition...and the 1.6 with patch straight from verizon...yadayadayada

my 1.3.6.3 versions do not let me select a dll if i have more than 4 dll files in the model folder...

that is all i was saying...still works great though, if i only have 4 or less...
 
does anyone have orig filedb and filedblist files hanging around that they wanna send me? :) before editing. or of some way to get them, if i kinda swakked. the files a bit.
 
Long time lurk......1st time post.....thanks a million Steve for all the useful info.....just brought a voyager back to life and now have the wap and mms working using the info on this thread...obrigado!
 
does your voyager have the 09 update on it by any chance?
I think the dlls out dont work on 09's.
cant say for sure since everywhere I ask no one bothers to answer if they can use nv edit with the voyager dll on 09 updated voyagers, but I am assuming that is the case. voyager and 9900 dll wouldnt work for me, had to use the 9800
 
And I did edit the fileDB. It was needed in order to change the wap settings. However, MMS isn't in the service menu. An idea that I've been having is that perhaps my Voyager is using a different firmware version than what the tutorials are going over?

Believe it or not converting phones is part of my job. I've been able to convert just about everything... For some reason still have problems fully converting the old LG 8300.. lol but everything else usually have no problem.

Well, i have done plenty of voyages until today. Customer brought in a NIB voyager (purchased at Verizon earlier today)

Access to fileDB is blocked by provider

No DLL will properly connect to phone, get the common DM error in LG download

i'm stuck

thank you guys so much the 9100 dll did work and im a very happy man. i got wap working.this is the first thing ive ever done with a cell phone other than talk and text .so i have to say this site rocks and more importantly the people on it .my next step pic messaging keep your fingers crossed for me.
 
I believe the tut will work all the way up to Firm Version 8. 9 started giving us issues. I believe the solution was to downgrade but I'm not sure if something better was found since I last checked.
 
So to be honest, this is my first Non Windows CDMA unlocking bit that I've ever done. Ater several hours of research and trial and error, I have managed to get my Voyager flashed over to Cricket. After more frustration, I now also have working WAP. It's wonderful. Slow, but wonderful. Anyway, the point of this post isn't to complain. I'm currently having a bit of an issue with getting the MMS to work. After following the instructions here as best as I can translate them from the 9900 model to the 10000, I still don't have any luck. Even more interesting to me is that after I NV edit the MMS settings and write them causing a reboot of the phone, they default back to the Verizon settings. Is there someone that can assist in resolving this issue? Anyway, thanks for reading and any help is much appreciates. Randomwit, I added you on AIM in hopes of snagging you for an IM session to discuss this further.
 
i bought a lgvx10000 that was flashed to cricket service I was trying to transfer my cricket # to this phone to save my self the 15 dollars, but I cant change the nam1 settings from the ##program10000 menu, can anyone help me?
 
Ok im sorry im very bad with phones & especially computerS...... Does anyone know of a place that unlocks the internet etc on the VX10000?????.... or can anyone do this for me for $....... Im from Michigan.......Thanks :)
