i need ringtones though...on my nokia i can just store them on my card edit them and use them as ringtones as simple as that, but if i got an unlocked phone how would i get my own ringtones

Well Im not sure if the vx9400 allows you to save and edit music file to your mini sd card and use it as a ringtone, but on most of them you cant. But if you can get picturemail on it you might be able to get it on or even if you can get web because you can have it sent from the cricket account page.

Get a MicroSD card (Or whatever memory it takes)
Download Audacity.
Get the song you want as a ringtone.
Edit the song so its under 30 seconRAB and is in Mono form.
Save it as either a .wav or whatever the phone supports.
Transfer to SD card.
Set as ringtone.
Thats how i do it.

i tried using the 9900 thread info like i always do, but for some reason, it kept reverting. also does anyone have LGNPST, its very hard to find
