Vx-8800 venus

Hey guys and gals, quick question here, i have a new outta box venus vx 8800, i am interested in seeing if we can put our heaRAB together to do these with some functionality on the cricket networks,, its original provider is verizon.


and for some reason i have a feeling that the vx8500 drivers might work with this unit, but i have not tried it yet.. i wont be able to test this theory till Monday assuming im not slammed at work.


p.s also i have a htc touch that i am gonna be putting on cricket also, but i cant get passed the lock code, i and on these units it has a wonderful timer that only lets you put a code attempt once every 35 minutes if you guess incorrectly.

For the HTC Touch just hard reset the device all information will be erased and it will work as if the phone was out of the box.

I believe if you just do the same as the 8550 with the 8800 it should work just fine.

venus is not that hard same as the chocolate and envy. same process, use the 9900 dll. ive done three of these all work great....
