VW Golf or Toyota Celica?

Hi, I currently have a VW Golf 2001 1.6 (X) reg and I've been offered a 2002 Toyota Celica 1.8 VVTi. My Golf has now done 73,000 and the Celica has done 84,000. The lady is asking for around £5,000 for the Celica. Would it be a good move on my part?

All thoughts welcome!

Oooh, hard choice. Both are good cars. The VW may be easier to maintain (and cheaper) but the Celica looks cooler. Both are fairly reliable and from experience, Toyota's are more fuel efficient. Good luck with your choice and sorry I have not been much help.
