Vue: Adult Superior, Beanbags and Over 18s?

I don't really like the sound of any of them. I've been to an over-18s screening and it was just the same experience but it cost more. Maybe if the cinema is prone to disruptive kiRAB it's worth it. But special seats and beanbags sound like a bad idea. The cinema should be kitted out with good seats, good projection and sound equipment and everyone in the audience should get a good view and a comfy seat, without charging extra for the privilege.

Beanbags?? Isn't that just the evolution screen?? Where you have the choice of Beanbag (really annoying after a while), 2 & 4 seat sofas and luxury chairs??

Over 18 screenings is a good idea and in July i'll be able to enjoy that bonus when i go to the cinema.

I'm a teen but when i go to the cinemas i actually go to watch the film not talk, giggle and act like a 7yr old, they give us good teens a bad name. I hate the fact now that everyone just assumes us teens are gonna disrupt the movie.

Yes, and unlike a previous post they don't appear to charge more in Bristol.

Vue have always done "Gold Class" - a whole screen with leather seats - but the Adult Superior is the same seats but only in 3 rows in a standard screen.

This isn't anything new, back in the olden days Odeon always used to have two classes of seats and a lot of smaller independant cinemas still do.

No, the standard seats should be the same, the three rows of "superior" seats are leather and a little wider - I think they describe them as "club class style seating".

Very similar to the seats you get in Gold Class screens, except those tend to recline as well (well they do in Star City).

One of these has just opened close to where I live, can't wait to go there! They have 3D screens too, which is excellent. Love the idea of the beanbags and being able to upgrade your standard seat if you want to.

All I need now, is a must see movie :D

I went to the first screening in our evolution screen last year with the beanbags and it was really comfy.
I went to the same screen last week and the beanbags were now really uncomfortable i could feel the floor through the leather, i suppose now everyone has had their ass' on it it will have worn out slightly.
I don't see much difference in superior seating either.

Went to ShepherRAB Bush Vue on Friday. It doesn't have beanbags or adult superior seats or an evolution screen.

Nor does it have a working box office most of the time. Queued up to buy tickets for nearly ten minutes before the girl came out of the booth and told us to go to the hot-dog counter because her ticket machine wasn't working. Went to the hot-dog counter and had to wait whilst people bought their popcorn, fizzy drinks etc. Then the family at the counter decided to have a debate about whether to buy tickets or not whilst the hapless assistant looked on. The mother gave me a real look when I asked if we could buy our tickets whilst they were deciding.

I'm quite happy with the normal seats. Just let me buy a ticket!
