Happy Memorial Day!

I have had an increase in pain in the last few days, even on medication. I take Vicoprophen and Robaxin. But the last couple days I have had such an increase in the butt cheek and leg pain, that it is ridicioulous (spelling?). I have took a bit more pain medicine, but I have been on the same stuff for almost 10 years and it has never bothered me before. I started with the nausea and vomiting yestereday when my pain levels really increased. I have been walking more, as I took on a dog walking job for the holiday week. I guess the activity could have increased the pain instead of helping. I don't feel like I have the stomach flu or feel sick. Just the nausea hits and then the vomiting. AfterwarRAB, I feel better, just have more pain as the throwing up doesn't help my back at all.

Just wondered if the increase in pain could cause the vomiting? :( Weird.

Thanks!

Yes, severe pain can cause nausea and vomiting. My back pain has brought me to this level a few times when severe, and I recently suffered from an abcess tooth that did the same due to the severe pain.

i have sacroilitis which causes upper buttock pain, leg pain, and hip pain. i too have vomitted several times and have felt nausea more times than that. after reading your thread i realized it only happens during flare-ups which result in increased pain.

Thanks everyone for their replies.

I'm still not convinced that I didn't have the flu, but no one else, that has been around me, has been sick yet. But, geez, I threw up for 4 days and my nerve pain is not any better yet. All I know is that I can do without that nonsense. I hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon.

Happy Monday to you!
