Volkswagen rabbit vs Toyota matrix?which one has more horse power, more storage quality etc.which ones better??

Uh, I don't know what the above guy means by saying German cars suck if you're tall, I'm 6'2 and worked for VW, and fit in all their cars with room to spare. We had people buy Passats and Beetles because they couldn't fit in a Toyota or Honda, and I drove around a Jetta for 4 years.

But that said, the Toyota is hands-down the better in terms of build quality. The VW has a nicer interior, rides nicer, and IMHO looks better but VW's quality is spottier, and VW's have less resale value. In terms of performance you're gonna be pretty close; neither is a gutsy car.

The Toyota Matrix has a 1.8l (132hp) or in 2009 you can get a 2.4l (158hp). The Rabbit has a 2.5l (172hp). The Toyota Matrix is a more reliable car as per Consumer Reports and has better owner satisfaction. The Matrix also gets better MPG. You can fit a huge amount of stuff in the Matrix and it is easy to fold down the seats for real big things. The Matrix is same motor and platform as the corolla that has been around for about 30 years. I bought a new hatchback two years ago and think Toyota makes the best one you can get. You can also go to www.matrixowners.com for more info.

I work in autobody and we always laugh at the VW's because they are all such crap and pains to work on! not one person at my autobody shop owns a VW. I would go with a toyota any day over the VW. they are much cheaper to fix and easier to work on.

german cars really suck if your tall toyota always had a better hand over german enginering i would hae to say toyota cause ofthe more space it brings an toyota motors really last an its worth ur money. i got a 1997 camry on 175,000 miles an it still runs like a charm
