Volkswagen stereo code! *help!!!*?

Each stereo has a different code. You need the VIN number from the car that radio was in, and take it to the dealer, and they can pull the code. Who did you buy it from? Ask if they have the little "code card" that comes with the new car with the code on it.

They will charge to pull the code though, you might be better off just buying an aftermarket stereo.
 
ok i have a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle and I bought a different stereo and kept the original beetle stereo. well my brother one day was cleaning the garage and he threw away my stereo! so i have recently bought another original volkwagen stereo but i need a code for it

the stereo i bought was from a 2002 beetle.

so my question is does anyone know the code for a 2002 stereo?

please help!
