I want to get the iPhone when my Verizon contract is up in a few months. I know AT&T has NO coverage at my house. Since I'm usually away from the house, it shouldn't be a big problem, but I would like to find a solution to make/receive calls at home (and text!). Most VoIP apps require you to get a second phone line to receive phone calls. I think this is a pain.
I don't like the idea of MicroCell because (1) it's expensive and (2) it's only good for when you are at home, not ANY time you have no coverage and (3) it's not available in my area.
So I'm looking for an app that can use your existing number, and know to use the app when there is no 3G coverage (and use wifi), and when I do have 3g coverage, use the AT&T plan.
