voip for E61

Can anyone from here help me get VOIP for my E61. I tried Truphone and for some reason it wont send me the link to download. If someone else uses a different provider please post link.
 
have you tried accessing truphone directly from your phone? that worked for me on my e70-2...truphone worked amazingly well too, wish it was free
 
Im just following the instructions on the website. When I go to the download area it tells me sms first and then they will sms me back with the link to download. I dont see a file that I can dowloand in the site. Thanks for the response.
 
Log into your account and the first page you see should say Welcome back So and So. Scroll down and in the Install/Reinstall Truphone sectioin it has 2 buttons. 1 is the wizard the other is the program. I think you should dl them both to your computer and then instal the wizard first. Good Luck.
 
so, if i have a NOkia E65, and set up Truphone (SIP) with my WiFi router at home, would there be any fees that I would have to pay for my service provider (i.e., fido?)

I haven't managed to make any of the SIP voip apps (gizmo, voicecheap) work on my N73. I've read on many blogs once I enter the specs, and it registers to the network, I should see the internet call icon, but I never do, any help? By the way I'm trying to do this without fring.
 
I am not certain about the other SIP apps you mentioned, however the Truphone client is not quite ready for release on the N73.

I've just upgraded to N80i and I was looking forward to downloading Truphone, finally. Unfortunately I haven't been able to even get an SMS. I can't log into my account and download the program to the computer because I don't HAVE an account yet. I sent the text message twice. Nothing back.

Sorry to hear that you didnt receive the return SMS. If you send us your GSM/cellular details to [email protected], we will look into this for you and have you up and running with Truphone in no time!
 
Thanks! I did that, and got a reply a few minutes later. I've got Truphone up and running and have already used it to call friends abroad. Kudos on the great service!
