Voices you imagine when reading comics/graphic novels/books

I've always pictured Pig from "Pearls Before Swine" voiced by Brian Posehn. And the crocs sounding like Ken Addleberg from "Home Movies".

Order of the Stick: Cary "Frylock" Means as Roy, Grey Delisle as Haley, Billy West as Elan, Ed Asner (doing Hudson) as Durkon, and Chuck Vennera (doing a voice close to Pesto) as Belkar. I can't really think of a good voice for V.

Whenever i think of someone Ominously Evil(Such as Giovanni in pokemon, or something like that) Long Feng from Avatar's voice pops in my head.

Don't know if you guys will consider this fitting in with this thread...but when I read the comic version of "Mad Love," the Batman comic that tells the origin of Harley Quinn, I had my own idea of how the actors from the TV show would deliver those lines. I read that comic so many times and had just about the entire comic acted out, in my head, by the voice actors of the TV show.

When the animated adaptation came out, I found myself being extremely disappointed. Everyone's deliveries were completely off from what I had imagined. The acting wasn't bad or anything, just different.

Seeing how the goon animated film seems to be on the way, I ve always pictured the goon having a voice that sounded like a tough guy that had a sore throat but was perfectly handled with toughness. And franky having a voice that is similar to Indiana jones but more of a comical tone for it.

I always imagined Calvin with a voice like Fred Savage's, when he was really young (Princess Bride, Little Monsters age). I thought of Hobbes kind of sounding like Daniel Stern, in Wonder Years narrator mode.

I do, too. Alan Young is Scrooge in my mind, and I usually imagine his voice whenever i read an 'Uncle Scrooge' comic.I know some people can't imagine Donald's normal 'duck' voice in the comics due to it's 'quackyness', but i have no problem inserting it there. (Weather it's Clarence 'Ducky Nash for older comics, or Tony Anselmo for more recent comics.) As for other voices, I usually imagine the voice actors i like in various comics. I like inserting Kevin Conroy's voice in my mind when i read most 'Batman' comics. (Depending on which era they're from, and who drew them.) For 'Spider-Man' comics, it's a toss up between Christopher Daniel Barns, Dan Gilvezan, Tobey McGuire, or Josh Keaton.
