voice mail now needs password

I had the voicemail on a G1 set with no password. last week my wife said it began requiring a password. how can I return to no password, I cant find it in the menu or password setup?

Call your voicemail. After you are prompted to enter your password, do so and press "#". Next press "*" to get to the main menu. Next press 5 for password security and finally press "2" to disable password security.
