Vodafone mobile network in Pakistan?

Are Vodafone mobiles active or available in Pakistan? Suppose that someone uses a Vodafone mobile in Germany and is on a holidays visit to Pakistan, will his Vodafone network remain active as before?

I will be very grateful if provided with sufficient information.
