Vizio pc monitor is buzzing with variety?? help!?

I have a 28" LCD Vizio full HD PC monitor. Havent had it for a while, but i noticed tonight that it buzzes, hums, whatever. I figured this is normal since my tv does it, but the buzz has a variety of tones and pitches. on my desktop home screen, it buzzes much more aggressively. The background is all white. When i switch to the web page, it quiets down, but is still active. With that said, i thought it could have been the light levels (contrast/brightness) because of the fact i would get different pitches and tones when there are different brightness levels on the screen. Very odd. Anyone have any inside knowledge on this? Negative sign of something? or is it whatever like a tv? Hasnt been this way forever. I really appreciate HELPFUL answers. Cheers
