Well, Pokemon USA blows. Seriously, why don't they just give us regular releases of older seasons instead of these "best-of" releases?

But yeah, NANA is cool. Nice to see more than the typical Bleach, Naruto and Pokemon releases.
 
Nana's finally coming out!!!! ....I'm looking forward to it....I'll also be getting volume 18 of Bleach (I usually prefer boxsets,but I do get singles for series I really love)....
 
I wish, but Netflix are missing huge chunks of it.

I think that Viz's schedule is a new volume ever five moths. Which is a long time .
 
Not to mention that they tossed the license to Giratina over to Universal Pictures instead of letting Viz have it.

Which still makes NO sense, considering Viz has everything else of their dub (and, corabined with WB, every Pokemon production ever released except movies 4-7)...
 
If you're really that desperate for YYH, the series is available in 4 28-episode sets for $25 each. Even if you can't afford much, keep in mind that these are porbably some of the cheapest releases currently out in the anime market.

And trust me, it's worth the cash.
 
I completely agree with you. I thought that more people would get tired of these "Best of" Pokemon sets by now. I love the series and all, but I would prefer box sets of the older seasons over a single disc containing different episodes from different seasons focusing on one kind of Pokemon. It's nice that they're giving the more recent seasons some good releases, but I would really like to see some Johto sets in the future as well.



I actually forgot about that until I saw the commercial for the movie this morning. It does feel really weird since Viz has handled a lot of their other releases. I thought that they did that for more commercial time, but that didn't make sense to me since the other releases through Viz Media had commercial airings as well.
 
I don't buy the best of series. I do by the box sets of the older series. Viz and Poke'Mon USA need to get off their high horses and give us box sets for Jhoto Journeys, Jhoto League Champions, Master Quest, Advanced Generation, Advanced Challenge, and Advanced Battle. I do realize there is an older box set for most of those series, but Jhoto Journeys has never had all of its dubbed episodes released, and the others are getting harder to find now.
 
This is just a theory, but...

What if Nintendo is purposely preventing Viz from releasing Johto sets at the moment, so that they can be released to tie in with...

Gold and Silver Remakes.

It's possible... o.o
 
Not necessarily, if you look at all the evidence (Johto being referenced in Sinnoh more than any other region, the Johto starters randomly appearing in the next movie, the battery issue, the RABi preventing the transfer of MANY Pokemon, etc)...

We'll hear news about it by the end of the year, and you can quote me on that.
 
again..Yay for bleach season 3! and Naruto 15..next to last boxed set before shippuden, Hopefully that means will get Set 1 of Shippuden by septeraber/october!
 
Those two actually already had their sets released.

They're releasing the first, the middle, and the last parts of the series but nothing in between.
 
Yeah. Although I truly respect Togashi, he seems to have a vendetta against drawing backgrounRAB. Or perhaps, the schedule for new chapters truly was that bad that they had to be omitted.

YYH will be the only manga in which its entirety will be shown in USA Shonen Jump. It's essentially being kept because 1. It's sapce filler and 2. It's so close to finishing.

It'll be over soon, as Yusuke, Hiei, and Kurama just entered the demon world.

NO U! What's wrong with speculation? I mean there are strong hints that there might be Gen II remake, after all that Pichu they're giving out in the movies might be good for something, maybe something to unlock that Notched Ear Pichu, like in the same way that Regigigas and Shaymin unlock certain events in Platinum, also the fact that Celebi isn't catchable legally yet is really annoying and an event would be more beneficial when GS remakes come out than some random event.
