Visual Radio in the USA

Does anyone have any info on stations in the US?

Apparantly CBS radio stations are supposed to support it, but none of the CBS stations in my area come up with a "Visual ID" when I do a search.

I found a list somewhere about a year ago when I looked. It was very, very short. As in, there was like 1 station in California.

Some Infinity Broadcasting stations have Visual Radio. Here's the complete list of all stations; only a few of these have VR:

Stations around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area send out RDS. I can pick them up in my BMW...

Infinity Broadcasting = CBS

Doesn't seem like radio stations care to expand their features. I don't really care that much since I don't listen to the radio that often, but it would be neat to check it out.

What's visual radio even suppose to do? I just thought it was a cool different name that S60 decided to go with instead of just Radio, or FM Radio. It's Visual Radio...ooo. Anyways, is there suppose to be some type of special info that comes up when you tune to a station? Do you need to be connected to a network?

It does require a network connection. It pulls down relevant information (like RDS for regular radios) like track title, etc.
