Vista Laptop, bluetooth on / working , but not detecting any networks?

i have hp pavillion dv6000 laptop, heres the problem. my bluetooth works and its on but when i open up the networks it doesnt show any networks. before it worked and showed list of networks and now what happen, i restarted my laptop and then it just happened. i use to use my brothers network but the stop bluetooth or wifi stop working. idk whats the problem. i tried messing around wit the bluetooth options, uninstalling and installing it, tried the troubleshoot and it didnt work. any help?
