visit to the gynecologist

mike asked me how many people on the internet know i have to go to the gynecologist (implying im a computer addict and nothing is too personal for the internet) so i figured i should let you all know that i have to go to the gynecologist today.

i havent been to the gynecologist in a long time. 3 years to be exact.

you know i use to have no problem getting up on that seat, putting my feet in those stirrups and spreading em for the good ol doctor... but as age sets in it becomes harder and harder for me to get a vagina exam.

but... i must nip this in the butt as i bleed 3 out of the 4 weeks in a month.

i am however forced to go to planned parenthood the land of stupidfuckingpeople. i hate that goddamned place. none of them know what they are doing. they told me for 2/3 years there was nothing wrong with me. they are out of their minds.. what normal person bleeds like i do? what normal person doesnt get a period for 6 months?

GODDAMNIT I HATE THE DOCTOR!
 
eh i just had my pap test done, great stuff! :thumbsup:
i don't know what to say about all the bleeding, try a different doc? are you on the pill? maybe that will help regulate you, but ya i have to agree, something is very wrong there, oh take iron pills. with bleeding so much, try to replace your iron, so you don't go aneimic(sp?).
 
i never even considered being anemic. thats a bright idea!

i should be on BC and GLUCOPHAGE but im not thats why im going to the doctor in hopes he will just give me the shit and believe im ill and not give me a sonnagram type crap because i dont want one.
 
I had the bleeding problems and intense cramps, missing periods for months on end and then having two in a month. I got put on the pill. (Junel 1.5/30 to be exact.) And it has helped so so much. Good luck Icka!

ok so here is the story

3pm i get offline, i take a shower, shave, do what i need to do for the doctors visit. mike let me borrow his car so i needed to go pick him up and then from there we decided to go to the gyno

i enter into planned parenthood and right off the bat there is a problem. i was a patient of another office and they needed my records. i had to go to a different office because lanned parenthood generally has you checked out by nurse practitioners not real doctors. however there is one real doctor in all of the nassua county planned parenthood. how ghetto! anyway after having to pee in a cup not once but twice because they dont have there shit togethe and lost my sample the ffirst time. i finially sit down with a woman who asks me all the necessary questions. then she brings me to an examining room and the real doctor comes in. he asks me the same stupid questions. we finially get on with talking and i tell him when i was 18 i had a sonnagram and glucophage and pap smear and blah blah. so after making me take all my clothes off he tells me to get dressed im not going to have an exam.

WTF!!!!

so he takes me into his little office and tells me since i already had this all done i should get my records and send them to him. after that i should revisit him and sit through the same grueling process however... planned parenthood is only able to deal with some things and he is going to have to refer me to nassau countycommunity medical center.

WTF!!!!

so he wants me to pay him to look at my records so he can refer me to a hospital...

so ive decided to borrow money and im going to skip all this crapness and spend 300.00 at a REAL FUCKING GYNECHOLOGIST because planned parenthood is filled with a bunch of assholes. i cant stand going there. not only am i surrounded by trash but i have to deal with there incompetent staff. i would rather jam a pencil in my ear then ever go back there.

i actually wound up walking out crying.. i feel like my trip was useless and i was really trying to fix things with my body. I HATE PLANNED PARENTHOOD!!!!!!
