Visible blood vessel on left temple

I wasn't sure where to post this. Today as I was doing my hair, I noticed that I could see a blood vessel at my left temple. It looks kinda swollen. There is no pain, I do not have a headache, no redness or burning. Just this visible thing. I am a 47 y.o. female in reasonably good health, no diabetes or blood pressure issues; I wear glasses and have allergic asthma and many sinus problems. I have no idea how long it's been there. Does anyone have any feedback???

It may just be a normal part of you that you hadn't noticed or it might be a varicose vein. If it bothers you or becomes painful, see a dermatologist for a diagnosis, if it is varicose they can treat it.
