yeah, mk was awesome back in the day, the new ones are way too much combo involved, i miss the old days of sweep kick, round house, high and low punch, high and low kick, and a uppercut, that was great. id puts street fighter 2nd, beyond that, nothing else really catches my attention. maybe soul calibur for a handful of matches before that becomes stale too. vitua fighter has been dead to me since release. hated that game since release and dont see myself liking it anymore with flashier graphics

The Xbox 360 version won't have online for sure? It doesn't seem like any details have been released, but if true that is good news

Yeah, I'd easily buy the 360 version if it has online play. In fact, I might buy the 360 version since I don't wanna buy a PS3 for it.

With Xbox Live, I can't see Sega not going online with it for the 360...especially if they have a few extra months to work on it.

Tekken is decent, and DOA is entertaining, if not really that GOOD a game, but neither are even close to VF.
Soul calibur is complete crap. biggest button mashers paradise, with none of the style or other redeeming features (er, boobs) of DOA.
Sega has stated that virtua fighter will NEVER be online.
You CANNOT play VF with even the slightest lag. Its far too precise.
And seeing as how even SF2 cant be played lag free on live, its not even worth putting the effort into developing the online code.
The only online you'll get (on any version) is downloadable accessories, or maybe online rankings or something.
Ill still get the PS3 version. At least i KNOW there will be a good fighting stick for it (Hori Real Arcade Pro3, and Sega's VF stick).
Plus reports so far say the PS3 port is arcade perfect (or very nearly) already.

Metal Gear Solid 4 will be announced for 360 pretty shortly as well. PS3 is losing exclusives left and right.
