My Son lives with his mother and he quit school when he turned 18. We went to court to stop Child support. Now he went back to school this past September. Now she is trying to get child support again and I say he was emancipated when he quit school at 18 so I shouldn't have to pay child support now. Can anyone help with this question because I can't find anything Thank you

She would have to go back to court to ask for a reinstatement of the child support order, and that should go away as soon as he graduates. So if she is successful, and she may not be, it should only be for a few months, right?

He should be emancipated just by turning eighteen? Is it nineteen over there or something? If it is, quitting school isn't emancipation. You can fight it, though.
