virgin mobile slice on cricket?

I have a virgin mobile slice that a friend of mine found. Would it be possible to flash it and activate on cricket? what would i need to do it besides the prl?

If it's got a newer firmware, you're screwed. There's no way to connect to it with any pc software.

how do i know what firmware it has and which ones good? any tutorials on flashing this phone to cricket? i wanted to flash it and give it to my daughter to use. thanks for any help.

Honestly from what ive read and heard here and other forums you cannot use virgin mobile phones on other carriers. I think their missing crutial parts or something. I would just recommend craigslist or ebay to get a simple verizon phone for your daughter. IMHO
