this phone? OKAY, THAT'S NOT ACTUALLY THE QUESTION.
Here is the thing, I can go on the Browser, Market, and basically use any application that requires a connection to the Internet, but I can only set up the connection at home (Because I have my own Internet). When I'm out and about, I can't find one. I know that I need to go to an establishment that offers Wi Fi like Starbucks in order to get that Internet connection, but does that mean I can't get a connection at all when.. let's say I'm just driving in the car (passenger seat, I'm not that stupid). I just don’t get it. I used to have the LG RumorTouch from Virgin Mobile and I was able to go on the Internet pretty much everywhere.
Here are my questions:
- How do I set up an Internet connection at places that don’t have Wi Fi, such as inside a car? Is it even possible with this phone?
- Why was it possible with the LG RumorTouch and not this phone?
- What is the difference between a 3G connection and a Wi Fi connection?
- Does a G4 connection exist or did I make that up? If it does exist, what is that in comparison/contrast to a Wi Fi/3G connection?
I know some, if not all of these questions are rather silly, if not downright stupid, but I’m just trying to learn.
What I really want is to just connect to the Internet so I can listen to Satellite Radio on my phone and look at the movies that are playing in theaters, because I’m always going to the movies.
