not really a question, more a word of warning to all virgin media customers, did you know that when you call there 0845 numbers, you are actually calling india.. well i never until just know after being on hold for about 5 minutes, i got through to a indian woman who could not understand a single word i was saying, i asked where i was calling and she told me, bloody joke.... i know that you can call free if you have a virgin home phone, but i don't habe a phone line with them, no wonder my phone bills are so expensive uuurrrrggg and i have just taken out a years contract with them....

Or you can call the land line number for the company which can be found at
http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php

or even the 0800 frephone number, each of which takes you to the same place but at different call rates

yep i knew that but your not actually charged at the india rate , its just where the call centre is -your charged the normal "0845" rate - alot of companys do this as its cheap labour, anonnoying yes! as they cant even understand us!

oh well, Ive got a Virgin Media package and am very happy.

I also managed to scam an upgrade to a better package when they lost the Sky One channel which I didnt even care about (apart from occasionally watching the Simpsons) but I phoned them up to express my 'outrage' and bang, at no extra charge I got another 15 channels on my account lol. Including Satanta which is normally 10 quid a month.

Get in .............
