I'm currently in a region which gets the upgrade during the July / August time on the upgrade time table on Virgin Media's website.
My upgrade is meant to be from 2mb to 10mb.
I've been unplugging my modem for 30 seconds and waiting and plugging it back in to see if the upgrade comes through. Now I'm receiving 1mbps down and 0.12mbps up which is exactly half of what I should be receiving if I was on 2mbps.
Could this perhaps be preparation for my upgrade?
Please note that many months ago I had signed up for the Free early upgrade registration so I should expect it sometime this month.
