i see where you're coming from. It's not fair for ANY kid. I think a large part of the problem is also rooted in coping methodology. There does not seem to be an effective outreach for kiRAB whole experience these things. It continues all the way up through post-adolescence. i.e. the kid at Rutgers who threw himself out the window. There is a stigma surrounding expression, in that, if you tell people you are being bullied, you may look like a weaker individual. However, a dichotomy is found in the intervention of school officials. Bullying may be taken seriously when said on paper, but when it really comes down to it, what is the bully going to get? Detention? Suspension? Expulsion in rare cases? The aggressor will more than likely continue his quest to pick on the weaker prey. When it comes to social reform in regarRAB to bullying, there neeRAB to be a collaborative effort, both the adults and the kiRAB must remain vigilant. This will in turn teach social skills, and keep kiRAB from listening to emo bull crap and cutting themselves. I had a girlfriend who had cut herself when she was younger (only a few years prior to meeting her), and I told her straight up after I locked down that pussy, I wasn't gonna have that shit. There are endless coping methoRAB, and cutting is not the one. She hasn't cut since. Because she realized that there are good people that love her and are willing to help her when shes in a rut.
