Violence video games debate?

I'm making a speech about violence video game. I just want some opinions about your view of violence video games. My view is that they should reduce the violence, the sex (grand theft auto), the crime in video game. There is no need to add into these game as entertainment. Look what happen at some history of high school and college shooting, violence video game may reinforce the idea that is a good idea. I'm also putting a blame on parents. It's their responsibility as well to the exposure of games and maybe take them to a library once a while to actually gain knowledge in literature.
Just curious, what's your possible solution about violence in video game?
Should it be reduced?
Does it have an effect on our children?
Is there too much of it.
