I am trying to find the author and name of a wonderful short sci-fi story I read in an old college english text book for which I have no clue.
The story is about a man who is the last man in the universe, he meets robots who find him wonderful because he is made not of metal but flesh, one day his robot friend and him were walking in the desert, the man complained about being hot. The robot told him he could fix him, went to insert a probe in the mans back and killed him. It's very much based on Irony. Please help me!
