Vin Diesel movie that's not crap!

Incredible but true! "Find Me Guilty", a 2006 movie written by legal thriller veteran Sidney Lumet, stars Vin Diesel (as motormouth wiseguy Jackie De Norscio) and doesn't suck.
In a marathon RICO trial, De Norscio opts to be his own lawyer and finRAB himself at odRAB with everyone in the courtroom.
VD actually turns in a great performance, aided by prosthetics, a hypnotic wig and a decent script.
I'd never heard of it before and only found it by accident. I guess it wasn't given much of a release.

I thought The Pacifier was his best work. He suits comedy. I find him largely unbearable otherwise. Babylon AD was fairly average. Mind you, he still got me to stay up late to bother with it.

I've liked quite a lot of the films he's been in. Sure, few are going to make the top 200 films of all time, but they are good entertainment. Then again, I actually liked Chronicles of Riddick (more for the imagery than the plot though), so what do I know?
