Villains that you really hate

Venom and Carnage from Spider-man. I don't usually care for shape-changing villains anyways because the fights tend to be pointless. But these two clowns are really annoying beyond that; they look stupid and have silly "evil" voices.

Well, I only have one villain that I truly hate, even though the word villain might not fit as well as the phrase 'emo prick with titanic delusions of grandeur and paranoia.' I'm talking about Light Yagami from Death Note. I know some people will say "But is the battle of wits and ego between Light and L that makes the series great," but it's the so-called wit and definite ego of Light that makes the show nigh-unwatchable to me from episode 1.

Even before he gets the Death Note, he's a bored apparent genius with nothing to really occupy his time, other than the thought that the 'world is rotting', which automatically gets me off on the wrong foot with him. You have to have some real ambitions, other than your pathetic emo thoughts!

Also, the way he acts when he first gets it is almost schizoid, at first completely dismissing it, pretty much acting too smart to fall for it, then grabbing saying that he must be crazy. Later when he gets back to his house with it, he dismisses again as being completely pointless. A little more than 10 seconds of screen time later Light opens the DN up and gets ready to write. Some might pass this off as curiosity, I call some pretty bad indecision and just enforces his lack of ambition. The schizoid attitude returns when Ryuk first appears: at first he's scared, then almost instantly, it's like Light was expecting him any minute then.

And of course at the end, his whole motivation to start passing judgment has to be justified... oh, wait, it's just because of his own boredom and lack of ambition again. Nevermind. I could accept it as Ryuk's reason for dropping the DN, but in no way it is an valid excuse for Light.

After that, Light becomes paranoid about every minute detail along the way, even beyond reason, such as when Misa comes to him. This girl, who is pretty freakin' hot IMO, comes to Light and practically begs to be with him and all he does is ask suspicious questions and basically at the end says "Meh, I don't give a crap if you do. I'm busy with my magic book plot anyway." UNACCEPTABLE!

The point here is that Light's nothing but an extremely bored teenager with the Death Note probably the first thing in a long while that has stimulated his brain, which is absolutely pathetic, especially for someone who is supposedly a genius. They say a mind is a terrible thing to waste; Light Yagami typifies that sentiment.

Eric Cartman - someone needs to hand that kid his , he's just outright sadistic and manipulative....

When I used to like Digimon, I hated Myotismon. He was badass in Adventure, but I DESPISED how they pulled him out of a hat for the 02 finale.

Team Rocket - gah, those bastards kept trying to steal Pikachu soo many times it all got monotonous, I can't even touch the show with the new ones...

I'll give thoughts of my own, and share the sentiments of jerks already mentioned.

Numbuh 363 (KND) -He just came in the recent finale and yet in that short time they made him really despicable, for me moreso than any other character on the entire show! It's astonishing how such a good leader like Numbuh 362 could have such a terrible leader as a brother (even his own team hated him!) I was glad to hear his no-touching obsession finally did him in. :p

Paul (Pokemon) -This series is pretty bad as is, but this guy...ugh, he makes me want Gary back! Unlike Gary, Paul never seems to get much comeuppance for his bad behavior, which is far worse than any rival's should be. Even when losing to Cynthia and publically humiliated, he ruins the moment by taking it out on poor Chimchar! Honestly, it's as if they made Damien (Charmander's old owner) a regular character!

Arlong (One Piece) -He's one of the few villains to actually die in this show, and with damn good reason! His merman nazism was disgusting to watch, as was how he treated Nami. I loved every minute of Luffy hammering that guy into submission.

Light Yagami (Death Note) -He is a special character, no doubt about that...a series protagonist who is pure evil, yet blinded to this fact by his self-righteousness (kind of like a young Judge Frollo). I feel real bad for Misa and Mikami, doing so much for that creep and getting squat in return. :(

Sasuke (Naruto) -I dissaprove of the overdone bashing of him, but it would be a lie to say I like him. He's one of those boring loner-type characters with no real chemistry with anyone else due to their own self-pity and angst (Kai of Beyblade and Ryuhou of S-Cry-Ed are other examples).

Frieza (DBZ) -You can't leave out the classics. This guy was a monster in every sense of the word and well deserved the beating Goku gave him, especially after he twice spurned chances of mercy.

Mr. Crocker (FOP) -He used to be so funny, but now he's been reduced to an uber-annoying caricature shrieking about fairies even when the situation does not need him to do so! A once good villain now completely unwatchable.
