Villains that they say that they are unbeatable; but they aren't.

This thread is dedicated to bad guys think their the ultimate unbeatable evil, but lets face it; in life, no evil is unbeatable.

I think that we can all Agree that Freeza from Dragon Ball is guilty of all charges in this fact. Through out the Freeza arc, all the characters that knew him say that he is indestructible and practically immune to attack, but in the end like so many that came across Son Goku, he was badly Beaten.

Princess Azula and Fire Lord Ozai From Avatar: The Last Airbender:These windbags think that they are untouchable gods that they think that they can get away with genocide and torturing Zuko, but like Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine, all that they have rough have come to not and all went straight down the commode.

Chase Young From Xiaolin Showdown:This was the first character I was thinking of when I though up of this thread. He acts like he's some sort of god like fighter and manipulator but all his plans have backfired in his face like any other villain.

Any one from the Total Drama shows:Let's face it, anyone who became the protagonist in these shows has all lost and or voted off the show.

Him from the Powerpuff Girls:This guy rarely fought the girls or is rarely seen in this series, but who can Blame him? He is suppose to be the ultimate evil in his world but like and any other villain in the show he is beaten to a bloody pulp.

If you want to go old school, then Mumm Ra, Cobra Commander, and Megatron would lead the list of villains claiming they are unbeatable that almost always lost.

Villains proclaiming themselves as "unbeatable" is nothing more than a simple delusion of grandeur. They're no more unbeatable than any other living entity. The fact that they have a lot of powers or followers doesn't make a difference.

Has there ever been a villain that has basically said "Yeah, I'm great and strong and all... but that one guy, he could probably beat me"?

I honestly don't recall such. Just to use Dragon Ball as an example (since you mentioned Frieza), all of the villains in each series thought they were unbeatable. Even the so-called "comic relief" villains like Pilaf or Monster Carrot, or what have you. They all thought they were untouchable.

This is just the general theme with antagonistic characters. Most, if not all, of them don't go around lamenting their weaknesses. In their minds, they have no weakness.

Well, DC villains are the exception. Lex and Joker know they can be beaten so they try to take out their nemesis before they go ahead with their schemes. Most DC villains are well aware the good guys could beat them. 'Cept Darksied. He's convinced he's a god.

the ones who think their unbeatible are useally the hardest to beat
but it's always cool when they get their butts handed to them
exsample that part in dragonball z where gets his butt kick by a piece of candy

With Frieza, I think he's helped with the way power levels work in DBZ. It kind of gets a bit silly later but in those first 2 sagas there's a very well done air of 'There's a whole universe out there and you don't stand a chance against it' for the heroes. Add in that Frieza is revealed to have been a possible threat since before the story even began and you have something really intimidating. The clear fact is that if Frieza had encountered the cast at an earlier time they would not have stood a chance. Even as is he kicked most of them around and they only won by a fluke of Goku awakening a hidden power within his DNA. I struggle to think of another fiction that did the angle so well.

All of them really. I don't think any villain has actually been unbeatable.

Chase has never claimed to be unbeatable. He saw Omi, Wuya and Hannibal Roy Bean as threats.

He only started losing to the girls after the Beat Alls episode. Before that he would always retreat because there was too much goodness or love surrounding him.

It's a gray area when it comes to Him. If there is no goodness or love surrounding him he'll become unbeatable as seen in "Speed Demon" but if there is goodness or love surrounding him he'll become too weak and must retreat.

I think Jafar from Aladdin got really, really close to being unbeatable though. I'm pretty anyone who hadn't had that conversation with Genie about being bound to the lamp wouldn't have known about it.
